GAME DAY: MEN'S SOCCER HOSTS MOLLOY IN ECC MATCH UP

STATEN ISLAND, NY - The College of Staten Island men's soccer team returns to East Coast Conference (ECC) action on Saturday afternoon, hosting Molloy University at Dolphin Soccer Park. The Dolphins are looking to bounce back after dropping in their conference opener to Roberts Wesleyan on Sept. 20, while Molloy will be kicking off its ECC schedule in this contest

In last year's matchup in Rockville Centre, NY, the Lions secured a 2-0 victory following a strong second-half offensive surge. Peterson Larose led the Dolphins' attack with three shots in 76 minutes of play, but the Lions out shot the Dolphins 21-7.

The Dolphins' last four matches have featured late second-half goals that either secured a win or salvaged a draw. It began with a thrilling finish against Georgian Court, where William Lopez scored the game-winning goal with just 20 seconds remaining and most recently, on Wednesday, Sept. 24, Wolfgang Alvarado found the bottom left corner of the net for a late equalizer against Dominican (N.Y.).

Alvarado leads the team with six points on three goals while Koray Arslan (1G, 2A) and Lopez (2G) have four points apiece.
