Overall Meeting Review:
Saturday afternoon's contest will mark the ninth all-time meeting between the two programs, with the series dating back to 1978. The Dolphins fell 3-2 in their inaugural meeting, and Mercy claimed the majority of victories in the series before CSI secured the first draw in 2022. The Mavericks hold a 6-0-3 record against the Dolphins, while CSI continues to search for its first victory in the series.
The Dolphins have already demonstrated their ability to compete against nationally ranked opponents this season, earning a historic victory over No. 16 Queens College earlier in the campaign. On Saturday, CSI will look to build on that performance and secure its second win over a nationally ranked opponent while celebrating its graduating seniors at Dolphins Soccer Park.
