STATEN ISLAND, NY – The College of Staten Island men's basketball team returns to the Tank Friday evening to host D'Youville University in the second meeting of the regular season between the two programs. The teams first met in early January, when the Dolphins used a strong second half to secure a 77-70 victory.

Jan. 9, 2026 Meeting Summary
In the first matchup of the season, the Dolphins and Saints battled through a tightly contested first half, heading into the break tied at 34. CSI also collected five rebounds on out-of-bounds plays. In total, the Dolphins finished with 55 rebounds, nearly evenly split between offensive and defensive boards, to set the new team record.

Record Comparison
As the 2025–26 regular season nears its final stretch, CSI sits third in the ECC standings with a 7-3 conference record and a 16-6 overall mark. The Saints enter the matchup in fifth place, holding a 5-5 conference record and a 5-13 overall record.

The Dolphins also feature three additional double-digit scorers in Eric Tynes (11.8), Chestnut (11.2), and Wiggan (11.0).
