FLUSHING, NY – The College of Staten Island baseball team will enter the weekend with a four-game East Coast Conference (ECC) series against Queens College, beginning Friday afternoon with a single game at 3:30 PM. All games will be played at Hennekens Stadium in Flushing, with the Dolphins serving as the home team for Friday and Sunday's single-game contests.

March 20, 2026 Recap
The Dolphins and Knights previously met on March 20, where CSI earned a 6–2 victory in game one. Game two remains unfinished after being suspended in extra innings with the score tied, 7–7. That contest is scheduled to resume prior to Sunday's game, beginning in the top of the ninth inning with the Dolphins due up.

In the 6–2 win, CSI plated four runs in the second inning, capitalizing on two Queens errors along with an RBI single from Michael Flashner. The Knights responded with single runs in the third and fifth innings, but the Dolphins added insurance runs in the seventh and eighth to secure the victory.

Game two saw the Dolphins fall behind early, trailing 4–1 after two innings. CSI mounted a late rally in the seventh, beginning with an RBI double from Jack Kehoe. Vincent Weigele, Jaden Waterman, and Jason Romance each followed with RBI at-bats to give the Dolphins a 6–4 lead. Queens answered to force extra innings, and in the eighth, Kehoe launched a home run to put CSI ahead 7–6. The Knights responded once again to tie the game at 7 before play was halted.

Both teams enter the series with identical 4–13 ECC records. The Dolphins hold a slight edge overall at 9–20, while the Knights sit at 9–21. With most teams having completed 18 conference games, CSI and Queens have each played 17 and will finalize their March 20 contest on Sunday.
