STATEN ISLAND, NY – The College of Staten Island men's soccer team will kick off its 2026 season against Saint Anselm College at Dolphin Soccer Park Saturday afternoon. The Dolphins' initial home opener against Assumption University on Thursday was canceled due to inclement weather, shifting the season opener to Saturday's matchup against the Hawks.

2025 Meeting Recap:
The Dolphins and Hawks met for the first time in 2025, with Saint Anselm earning a 1-0 victory in Manchester, NH. The loss came in the Dolphins' second game of the 2025 season where CSI outshot the Hawks, 9-8, in the first half, but Saint Anselm managed to find the back of the net for the lone goal of the contest.

2025 Dolphin Statistics Overview:
The Dolphins fell short of an East Coast Conference (ECC) playoff berth last season, finishing with a 2-7-5 overall record and a 1-5-2 mark in ECC play. Peterson Larose, who was named to the All-ECC Third Team, led the Dolphins with 11 points on four goals and three assists across 12 games. Koray Arslan followed with six points on two goals and two assists.
