ROCHESTER, NY – The College of Staten Island men's soccer team will look to carry the momentum from Wednesday night's historic win over nationally ranked Queens College into the weekend when they take on the 2025 East Coast Conference (ECC) Champions, Roberts Wesleyan University, Saturday afternoon in Rochester, NY.
2025 Meeting Recap:
The Dolphins hosted the RedHawks during the 2025 season, with Roberts Wesleyan coming away with a 2-1 victory. The RedHawks took a 2-0 lead into halftime despite the Dolphins trailing by just one shot, 6-5. CSI came out strong in the second half, holding the RedHawks scoreless while finding the back of the net on an unassisted goal. However, the Dolphins were unable to find the equalizer and fell 2-1.
Alonso Villegas led the Dolphins with three shots, all of which were on goal. Koray Arslan recorded two shots, while Brian Puelo added one. Luca Schelling started in goal and made four saves.
