CSI freshman Joe Bolella has been named CSI's Male Athlete of the Week for the week of October 30. The Dolphins' men's soccer team wrapped up their season on the road in the CUNYAC Playoffs and Bolella was a key contributor. In the Quarterfinals, Bolella was the hero, scoring a goal in the 78th minute to lift CSI past Baruch, 1-0. Three days later, against Lehman College,the Dolphins fell to the top-seeded Lightning, but Bolella was a huge reason why the Dolphins were able to come back from a 2-0 deficit. Bolella's goal in the 35th minute via a header in the box, cut the Lightning lead to 2-1. CSI would go on to force a tie before Lehman won it late. For the season, Bolella finished with six goals and a pair of assists on 30 shots.
