Patrick Thomas was named the College of Staten Island’s Player of the Month for April 2010. The sophomore star helped the Dolphins to a nine game win streak in April while the team also grabbed the CUNYAC Regular Season Championship title for the second year in a row.
 
Thomas had a 9-2 singles record during April along with an 8-4 doubles record. He started the month overcoming a tie and finishing 6-4, 4-6, 7-5 in No.1 singles to help CSI to a 6-3 victory over Farmingdale State. One of his biggest wins included a 6-4, 6-1 victory against Roy Forberg in No. 2 singles to lift the Dolphins to a 5-4 win over Hunter College.
 
The Staten Island Academy graduate, who also grabbed himself a CUNYAC Player of the Week award, has the seventh best CUNYAC No. 1 singles record, 3-1.
