FDU-FLORHAM PUTS THREE PAST MEN'S SOCCER

College of Staten Island Men's Soccer was defeated by FDU-Florham, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon in Madison, NJ. The Dolphins drop to a 0-2-1 record while the Devils stretch to a 1-3 record.
 
Tommy Asselta scored the first goal for FDU at 28:55 before Brian Nazari squeezed in a second goal assisted by Phil Symonkhonh with 1:30 left on the clock in the first half. Offensively, CSI didn't take a shot in the first half while the devils totaled 13.  
 
Thirteen minutes into the second stanza, Josh Corpuz scored unassisted to tally the team's final goal of the game.
 
Lirim Begai and Masaki Kubo were able to get a shot off for CSI while FDU totaled nine shots in the second half.
 
Corpus totaled six shots with five on-goal including his second half goal.
 
Despite allowing three goals, Dolphins' goalie Ahmed El-Ghareib totaled 12 saves while second half goalie for FDU Steve Domino had one save.
 
The Dolphins will open conference play on Wednesday, September 14 as they travel to Brooklyn, NY for a 4:00 pm contest against Brooklyn College.
