The top-seeded Dolphins earned their championship berth by virtue of their 73-63 win in the semifinals on Tuesday over Baruch College. No. 6 seed Medgar Evers College bounced out No. 7 York College, 80-64, in their semifinal match-up to meet up with CSI. The two teams played twice during the regular season, with CSI taking both games, 93-66, in December at the Sports & Recreation Center, and a 93-81 win in Brooklyn a little over two weeks ago. This is the second-straight year that the Dolphins and Cougars are meeting in the Championship game. MEC won last year's contest, 62-56.
