WOMEN'S TENNIS EXTEND CONFERENCE RECORD WITH WIN OVER JOHN JAY

Nancy Almazo captured a win in both singles and doubles to help the Dolphins to victory.
The Dolphins extended their conference record to 3-1 Tuesday evening with a win over John Jay College, 8-1. CSI furthers their overall record to 5-4.
 
CUNYAC's Rookie of the Week, Madiha Mulla, swept her opponent in 3rd singles with a 6-0, 6-0 score. While her teammate Jackie Jamaleddine in fifth dingles also took a solid, 6-0, 6-0 victory.
 
In second doubles play, Nancy Almazo and Ilona Stoyko captured an 8-1 victory over Ashley Marrero and Lauren Mallon.
 
Closing out the match, John Jay saw their only set win in No. 5 singles as the Bloodhounds' Natalie Cervantes took a win from CSI's Nataliya Zitser, 6-7, 7-5, 6-2, 10-4.
 
The Dolphins will be back in play on Thursday, September 28th as they travel to Ramapo College for a 3:30 pm non-conference match.
