The College of Staten Island women's tennis team ran their overall record to 3-0, and took their CUNYAC opener this afternoon, rolling over City College of New York, 9-0, in a match played at York College.

CSI took an early 2-0 edge before the match even began, as CCNY was forced to concede third doubles and sixth singles flights due to an insufficient roster.  When play did allow, it was all CSI from start to finish.  the duo of Sabrina Bragerton-Nasert and Mediha Mulla took an 8-2 winner in the top flight, while the Dolphins duo of Ilona Stoyko and Jean Baak dismantled CCNY's Diana Yusim and Maigon Nobbs, 8-0.

When play turned to singles, Stoyko, Bragerton-Nasert, Baak, Mulla, and freshman Michelle Kushnir all tallied straight set wins.

CSI will return to action for a tough non-conference test on Tuesday evening at 7pm, when they travel to face St. Joseph's College of Patchogue.
