The Dolphins had several opportunities to level the score, including a shot taken by
Brandon Cadmen at the 26-minute mark that headed just wide of the goal.
The Devils stretched the lead to two 11 minutes into the second half. Tommy Asselta had the goal of his career when he took a shot from 35-yards out on a direct kick that sailed up and over goalkeeper
Antonio Lynch and into the back of the net. It was that goal however that fueled the Dolphins to play with a new intensity.

Thomas Vazquez shot a header towards the goal, but the ball went wide.
Nicholas Bacarella had several opportunities to score, but unfortunately was unable to capitalize on them. At the 73 minute mark, he took a shot that headed just a bit wide of the goal as did a shot at minute 77 and 83. Teammate
