All-Time Series:  CSI leads John Jay, 77-41 / CSI leads Lehman, 77-27
Players To Watch (CSI): CSI's hottest hand these days at the plate is freshman Jett Nouvertne who has certainly found his groove and is batting .364, tied for second with 20 RBI and a team-best 17 stolen bases.  Anthony DiMarco has boasted a stellar glove at third base and he is swinging a hot bat, raising his average up to .351.  Glenn Glennerster is right behind at .325, pacing the team in RBI with 24.  Catcher Fank Sconzo is among the nation's leaders in walks this season with 34, tying a school record, booting his on-base percentage to a heavy .476.
Players To Watch (JJC): John Jay has a few fierce hitters in their lineup putting up great numbers.  Dylan Laudano leads the way with a .388 average with 45 hits and a team best 32 RBI with four homers.  Zach Hyde has also been key, batting .382 with a team high 15 stolen bags and 47 hits and 32 runs scored.  Brian Garcia is next at .346 and his 20 bases on balls leads the team.  On the hill, Sean Napier leads the charge with a 3-2 overall record in three starts and a 3.00 ERA through 33 innings.  Christian Rodriguez has made the most starts with eight, going 3-4 with a 6.20 ERA.
Players To Watch (LC): Jeffrey Ledesma is a sure-fire Player of the Year candidate who is batting .391 in 33 starts, knocking in a CUNYAC high 52 hits with 9 home runs and 39 RBI.  Nataneal Toribio is batting .360, showing power with five homers and 30 RBI.  Steve Cuello hit two home runs in the season finale against CSI and is batting .328 with a team best 26 walks that boost his on-base percentage to a heavy .446.  On the mound, Jose Albrincole has made eight starts, boasting a 2-6 record with a 9.23 ERA.  Harrison Paulino has the team's best ERA at 4.63.
News & Notes: The Dolphins are the defending CUNYAC Champs and the road to a proper defense will begin today.  The way the CUNYAC Tournament is set up, the Nos. 1-2 seeds in the Tournament (CSI and Baruch) have earned first-round byes and advance directly into the double-elimination stage of the Tournament.  The remaining for teams (CCNY, John Jay, Lehman, and Maine-Presque Isle) play in a single elimination for the right to enter in double-elimination play.  Therefore the winner of today's opening game will play CSI.  At Kingsborough Community College, CCNY will host Maine-Presque Isle at 12 Noon with the winner of that game to play No. 2 Baruch at 4pm.  The tournament will continue on Friday (weather permitting) and Saturday.  During the regular season, CSI defeated John Jay two out of three times, losing the opening game of a three-game set 11-4, before beating the Bloodhounds, 6-2, and 4-3.  CSI ended the season against Lehman and lost two of three.  CSI took the opener 9-4, before dropping 4-3 and 9-8 decisions to finish the season on a two game skid.
