Staten Island, NY – The College of Staten Island Men's Basketball team (0-5 overall) will play in their third straight home contest of the season against the Pace University Setters (7-0 overall) in the Dolphin Tank this afternoon. Game time is set for 1:00 PM. The Dolphins have played the Setters a total of five times. Four of those five games were played in the early 1980's with CSI winning all four contests. Most recently, CSI suffered their first loss to the Cougars in the 2019-20 season by 40 points, in what was home game for Pace. Today, CSI will look to keep their 3-0 all-time home record against the undefeated Cougars while seeking their first win of the season. Fans are permitted to attend, however, all fans MUST follow our Winter Spectator Policy to attend.
 
LAST TIME OUT
This past Monday, the Dolphins had one of their better games of the young season, though, they saw a second-half comeback attempt come up short as they dropped the matchup against the Adelphi University Panthers, 84-69. The Setters have started the season 7-0, most recently beating The College of Saint Rose, 75-61. CSI had one of their worst losses ever against The College of Saint Rose at the beginning of the season. The Dolphins will have their hands full against the unbeaten Setters, though, CSI is still looking for their first win they have played better in recent games.
 
DOLPHINS TO WATCH
Bryce Waterman had his best game of the season in their last game played. Waterman scored a season-high 28 points and knocked down seven threes. Messiah Mallory just missed his first double-double of season finishing with 13 points (a season-high) and nine boards. Mallory also leads the team in assists with 16 total (3.2 per-game). Max Dylan Butler has been providing CSI with some quality minutes off the bench and was a major part of CSI's comeback attempt in their last game.
