This will be the first meeting ever between both teams. Currently, both Dolphin squads come in at 3-8 overall, however, the men are 2-3 in the ECC while the women picked up their first ECC win this past Saturday in double-overtime fashion, improving their ECC record to 1-3. The Mavericks men's team enter with a 1-11 overall record (1-4 ECC) while the women's team enters this one with a 6-6 overall record and undefeated in the ECC at 4-0.

LAST TIME OUT
In last Saturday's ECC double-header Matchup, the Men's Basketball team couldn't build upon a hot start as they fell to the Purple Knights of the University of Bridgeport, 91-86. However, the Women's Basketball team completed yet another late-game comeback as they outlasted the Purple Knights in thrilling double-overtime fashion, 92-88. The Maverick men recently picked up their first win of the season two days ago against Molloy College, 82-72 while the Maverick women are riding a three-game win streak.

DOLPHINS TO WATCH
For the men, Messiah Mallory, Bryce Waterman and Austin Mick all scored 20 or more points in their five-point loss to the Purple Nights. The trio combined to hit 11-22 from downtown and was the first time this season that all players hit the 20-point mark in the same game.

On the women's side, although the double-overtime win was a total team effort, Jenlyse Alarcon earned Player of the Week Honors from the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association with her 32 points and 17 rebounds in the thrilling overtime victory. Gia Esposito started that game for the first time this season and finished the afternoon with 22 points, including the game-tying three ball that ultimately sent the game into the initial overtime period. In the second overtime period it was Kristina Arvelo, who scored eight straight points in the first two minutes of play giving CSI a five-point lead that they would hold on for the win.
