Dolphins Looking to Maintain Win Streak Over Saints

The Dolphins enter Friday's contest riding a three-game winning streak against the Saints. CSI swept the regular-season series last year and followed it up with a late-season win during the 2023–24 campaign. In the first meeting of the 2024–25 season at the Tank, the Dolphins secured a 61–54 victory behind strong performances in the opening and closing quarters. Dana Phelan led the way with 17 points, knocking down five three-pointers. The second contest, played in Buffalo, saw the Saints take a 34–29 lead into halftime. CSI responded with a dominant third quarter, outscoring D'Youville 23–9 to pull away for a 67–61 win and complete the regular-season sweep.

Kyra Rose continues to be a steady presence for the Dolphins. After leading CSI with 14 points on 50 percent shooting in Tuesday's win over Post, the senior forward now paces the team with 12.7 points per game while also averaging 7.6 rebounds. Rose leads the Dolphins in assists (33) and steals (21) as well.

Dolphins' Scoring Trio

Rose, Racky Kane, and Shonyae Edmonds form the core of CSI's scoring attack through 14 games this season. Rose leads the group at 12.7 ppg, followed closely by Kane at 12.4 and Edmonds at 11.3. Edmonds ranks second on the team in rebounding at 6.8, pulling down seven boards against Post on Tuesday.

The Dolphins average 53.7 points per game this season, trailing the Saints, who enter the matchup averaging 60.4 points. In their two games to open the new year, D'Youville fell to Assumption and American International by margins of 20 points or fewer.
