Players to Watch (CSI): CSI continues to be paced by the hard-hitting of Patricia Riches, who is among the nation's leaders in batting average with a .549 bat.  She has posted 39 hits, and has taken over the team lead in extra bases with 13, including a team-high nine doubles and three triples.  Sierra Kaplanek has been just as lethal too at .419 and has posted eight doubles with a team-best three home runs.  Antoinette Galbo is sitting at .354 scattering 23 hits and has a team-high 10 stolen bases.  Jaclyn Kateridge is batting .329 this season, and sits third on the team with 21 runs scored.  SHe is also getting it done in the circle, where she is on a four-game win streak, now boasting a 3.32 ERA in 76 innings.  Senior Alison Meagher has logged 26.0 innings and is at a 0.27 ERA, and is now at 4-1 after five starts.
Players to Watch (SJC-LI):  The Eagles have a pair of heavy hitters in the lineup who will look to do damage again here today.  Jenna DeFina is batting a healthy .427, leading the team in hits with 35 and in runs scored with 21.  Look for Kassandra Tibbetts to be a force as she comes in batting .351, leading the team with seven doubles.  Look for Lindsey Ness to have an impact.  She is hitting .312, and has a team-high 16 RBI to her credit with five extra-bases, all doubles.  Elise Grau leads the team in walks with 11, raising her on-base percentage to .424.  In the circle, the team is led by Catherine Zucker, who is 6-4 with a 2.36 ERA, fanning 41 batters in 62.1 innings.  Look for Alyssa Rivera to also get time.  She is 503 with a 3.41 ERA.
News & Notes:  These two teams have split 20 all-time meetings, and they met for the first time since 2015 last year in Staten Island with CSI taking both games.  The Dolphins have actually won the last four meetings by a combined 10 runs.  These meetings today are the first that are taking place in Long Island since the 2014 season.  That year the teams split the doubleheader.  St. Joseph's is 4-2 all-time at home against CSI and they are also 4-2 on their home field this season.  The teams share no common opponents this season, although the Eagles did have a doubleheader on Tuesday rained out.  SJC finished 20-10 last season, a mark that included a 14-2 Skyline Conference record.
