GAMEDAY: SOFTBALL VISITS AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL FOR MIDWEEK DOUBLEHEADER

Springfield, MA - The College of Staten Island Softball Team will hit the road this afternoon as they travel to American International College for a midweek doubleheader. The Dolphins last played on Thursday and dropped a pair of two-run games to Georgian Court University, 3-1 and 6-4. The Dolphins enter today's games 5-11 on the season, but they swept a doubleheader from the Yellow Jackets in dramatic fashion last season. The Dolphins held on in the seventh inning to win 4-3 against AIC in game one last year, a victory that earned Tracey Garofalo her 300^th career win. In game two, the Dolphins trailed 8-0 before staging their biggest comeback of the season to win 9-8. The Yellow Jackets enter today's doubleheader 4-4, and all eight of their games were played in Florida at The Spring Games. Today, they will host their home opener looking to avenge the two losses to the Dolphins last season, the only two meetings between the two programs.
