GAMEDAY: SOFTBALL OPENS BUSY WEEK-LONG STRETCH WITH CONFERENCE DOUBLEHEADER AGAINST MERCY

Dobbs Ferry, NY - The College of Staten Island Softball Team will begin a busy week-long stretch of games this afternoon as they hit the road for a conference matchup with Mercy University. The Dolphins are 10-14 on the season and have had nearly a week off since their last outing against Queens College. The Dolphins moved to 3-1 in conference play as they split two games with the Knights last weekend, and the team has since had two doubleheaders postponed by rain throughout this past week. The Mavericks enter today's doubleheader 5-15 on the season and 1-5 in conference play. Mercy has also been off since last Saturday when they split an ECC doubleheader with D'Youville University. The Mavericks have won eight of the twelve meetings with the Dolphins all-time including wins in three of the four matchups last season.
