GAMEDAY: SOFTBALL LOOKS TO BOUNCE BACK IN CONFERENCE DOUBLEHEADER VS ST. THOMAS AQUINAS

Staten Island, NY - The College of Staten Island Softball Team will look to bounce back from a pair of heartbreaking losses at Mercy University yesterday as they host the Spartans of St. Thomas Aquinas College at the CSI Softball Complex today at noon. The Dolphins are 10-16 on the season and 3-3 against the ECC following yesterday's doubleheader with the Mavericks. The Spartans are 16-16 on the year and 5-1 in conference play. Most recently, STAC dropped a pair of games to Adelphi University on Thursday. The Dolphins have beaten the Spartans just once in twelve games dating back to the 2021 season. CSI has been shut out seven times in those games and has scored one run or fewer nine times. However, the Dolphins have scored six runs or more seven times in their last ten games.
