GAMEDAY: SOFTBALL FACES STAC AT HOME IN SECOND STRAIGHT CONFERENCE DOUBLEHEADER

Staten Island, NY - The College of Staten Island Softball Team is back home following a postponement of their scheduled Saturday doubleheader against Mercy as they face St. Thomas Aquinas today at 12:00 PM. The Dolphins and Spartans met earlier in the week, and STAC picked up a doubleheader sweep against the Dolphins, 5-3 and 3-0. The losses dropped the Dolphins to 13-15 and 1-7 in conference play. The Spartans improved to 20-15 on the year and 8-2 in conference play with the sweep of CSI. The wins moved STAC to 17-1 against the Dolphins all-time and puts CSI in a position where every remaining conference game is critical. The Dolphins will face the Spartans today and will face D'Youville on the road on Tuesday. The Dolphins will then end the season with an eight-game conference homestand.
