STATEN ISLAND, NY – The College of Staten Island softball team will continue non-conference play on Tuesday afternoon with an inaugural meeting against Jefferson University at the CSI Softball Complex. The Dolphins enter the contest following a doubleheader sweep of the Rams' Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent Chestnut Hill, earning 11–9 and 3–1 victories.

Tuesday's game will mark the first meeting between the two programs. Jefferson enters the matchup with a 6–4 record, while the Dolphins sit at 3–3 overall. Both teams share a common opponent in Virginia Union, with each program earning victories. The Rams secured a doubleheader sweep, while the Dolphins defeated the Panthers in a single-game contest.
