STATEN ISLAND, NY – The College of Staten Island softball team begins a three-game week on Tuesday with a non-conference doubleheader against Holy Family University at the CSI Softball Complex.

The Dolphins went 2-4 last week against Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponents, earning splits with Felician and Dominican (N.Y.), while the Tigers opened conference play with a split against Bridgeport.

2025 Meeting Recap
Tuesday's doubleheader marks the fifth all-time meeting between the two programs, with Holy Family holding a 4-3 edge in the series. Last season, the teams split a doubleheader in Philadelphia. CSI claimed a 12-8 win in game one behind back-to-back six-run innings, while the Tigers responded with a 2-0 shutout in game two.

Both teams enter with similar records, though Holy Family has played more games at 5-9, compared to CSI's 5-7 mark. The Dolphins will open East Coast Conference play Friday against Queens, while the Tigers began CACC action last week with a split.
