ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY – The College of Staten Island softball team will travel to Rockville Centre on Wednesday afternoon for an East Coast Conference (ECC) matchup against Molloy University.

The Dolphins and Lions last met at the end of March for their first doubleheader of the season, with both games extending into extra innings. CSI came away with a sweep, earning a 6–5 victory in eight innings in game one and a 4–3 win in 11 innings in game two.
Madilyn Paul and Kaylee Cary each delivered walk-off at-bats to secure the wins, marking the Dolphins' second all-time sweep of Molloy.
Team Comparison
Both teams enter the matchup in the hunt for a postseason spot. The Dolphins currently sit fourth in the ECC standings with a 4–6 conference record, while the Lions are just behind at 3–7 in fifth. With both teams having played 10 conference games, CSI will look to build on its earlier success against Molloy and strengthen its position in the standings.

Jianna Lopez also has 11 RBI while batting .342 and leads the team with three triples.
In the circle, Marena Grenier anchors the staff with a 3.98 ERA and 64 strikeouts across 82.2 innings pitched. Kennedie Ruth has added 33 strikeouts on the season.
For Molloy, their top hitter is batting .363 with 41 hits and 19 RBI, while another key contributor is hitting .342 with 27 hits. The Lions' leading run producer has driven in 20 RBI on the season. In the circle, all three Molloy pitchers carry ERAs above 5.00, with their top arm posting a 5.41 ERA and 24 strikeouts, while another has recorded a staff-high 37 strikeouts with a 5.67 ERA.
